March with Mary: A Day of Faith and Unity

On July 13, 2024, a remarkable event took place that brought together Catholics from all walks of life. The occasion was the anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima's appearance, and the event was a parade in Lakeville, a testament to the enduring faith and devotion of the community.

The day began under a cloudy sky, with rain gently falling on the participants who had gathered at the float site. Despite the weather, the spirits were high, and the anticipation was palpable. As the group prepared to start the parade, they received news of an assassination attempt on Donald Trump. In response, the group came together in prayer for all those involved, demonstrating the power of faith and unity in times of crisis.

Just as the parade was about to begin, the sun broke through the clouds, casting a warm glow on the participants and the crowd that had gathered. This was interpreted as a sign of approval from Our Lady, a beacon of hope amidst the challenges.

The parade was a vibrant display of faith and devotion. Participants distributed candy, religious artifacts, Fatima prayer cards, crucifixes, and roses to the eager crowd. Each rose was given with a prayer, a silent wish for the recipient's well-being and spiritual growth. The roses, in particular, were a hit among the crowd. Their sweet scent filled the air, serving as a tangible reminder of the Blessed Mother's presence and love.

The response from the crowd was overwhelming. People of all ages reached out to receive the gifts, their faces lighting up with joy and curiosity. The sight of so many people, united in their desire to be part of this event, was a powerful testament to the impact of faith and community.

Despite the uncertainty of the event's impact, the participants remained hopeful. They believed in the power of their actions, in the possibility that even one soul might be moved by the sight of the statue, the contents of the package, or the scent of the rose. This belief fueled their efforts, making the day worthwhile.

The Lakeville Parade was more than just an event; it was a demonstration of faith, unity, and love for Mary. It was a reminder that in times of adversity, we can find solace in our faith and in the community that shares it. It was a call to action, urging us to step up and do what we can, no matter how small our actions may seem.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Knights of Columbus and the World Apostolate of Fatima for their sponsorship and support. Their contribution was instrumental in making this event a success. In conclusion, the March with Mary was a memorable day that left a lasting impact on all those who participated.

It was a testament to the power of faith, the strength of community, and the enduring love for Mary. As we look forward to future events, we are reminded of the importance of standing together, of expressing our faith, and of spreading love and unity wherever we go.

March With Mary: The Heat of Mission

We march because Mary still walks with us. She doesn't shout. She gently invites. And so we go—not to perform, but to proclaim. Not to be seen, but to reveal the unseen. With every step in Montgomery’s parade, we offered a living reminder that Heaven is near, and that a Mother cares.
