A Miraculous March at Faribault Heritage Days!

The Faribault Heritage Days Parade, held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 6:15 PM, was more than just a march; it was a testament to faith and community spirit, filled with unexpected blessings from Our Lady.

Just two days before the parade, a wave of panic swept over our Rose Assembly team. The hundreds of roses we planned to distribute were nowhere in sight. With time ticking away, fervent prayers and "Hail Marys" filled the air. And just in the nick of time, that very morning, the beautiful roses arrived, ready for their special purpose.

As Parade Day dawned, a new challenge emerged. Would we have enough hands to carry the revered statue of Our Lady through the streets of Faribault? Our worries quickly dissipated as three wonderful families, joined by seven Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, and several Third Degree Knights, including the Grand Knight in Faribault, stepped forward. Their presence was a powerful display of devotion and solidarity. Anyone who loves Our Lady is welcome to join the march, and this year, the community truly showed up!

With everything falling into place, we gathered for the line-up, which began between 5:00-6:00 PM. But just as we were about to begin, we discovered our four-wheeler's fuel tank was bone dry. With no time to spare for a gas station run, a sense of trustful surrender to Divine Providence settled over us. Jeff Tupy, a valued member of our team, noticed our predicament and suggested we reach out to the leader of the go-kart riders nearby. Thanks to Jeff's quick thinking and the generosity of the go-kart group, they were able to provide us with a much-needed gallon of gas – problem solved!

Fueled by faith and a bit of unexpected assistance from our fellow parade participants, we set off, distributing hundreds of roses to countless mothers along the parade route. It was a day filled with small miracles, reminding us that with faith and community, even the biggest obstacles can be overcome. We eagerly await our next opportunity to march with Mary at the Dan Patch Days event in Savage, MN on June 28, 2025, which will be followed by a Rosary Rally at St. John the Baptist!

Our family was honored to participate in the March With Mary at Faribault Heritage Days Parade. It was inspiring to see the crowd stand for the American Flag, the Cross and our Mother, men removing their hats, and several people making the Sign of the Cross as we passed by. Handing the roses to mothers with the words, "This is from your Mother Mary", was truly a beautiful experience! The receiving faces had expressions of wonder, excitement and their  joy was contagious! I noticed that women would wait, almost seeming to hold their breath, wondering if they too would receive one of the beautiful roses from our Lady. Thank you for including our family! -Blessings, LeBrun Family

Bringing our Blessed Mother through the streets of Faribault was a powerful experience for me. I believe people's lives were touched as we processed by. There was great reverence, and I witnessed many people making the sign of the cross. Mothers were genuinely grateful to receive a beautiful red rose. - Gerry Hoisington

March With Mary: The Heat of Mission

We march because Mary still walks with us. She doesn't shout. She gently invites. And so we go—not to perform, but to proclaim. Not to be seen, but to reveal the unseen. With every step in Montgomery’s parade, we offered a living reminder that Heaven is near, and that a Mother cares.
